"Artificial Fermentation" (2021)

"Artificial Fermentation" is an 10 image NFT collection in collaberation with Playform AI software.

Inspired by the relationship between fermentation and artificial intelligence, digital artist Andrew Tricaso presents Artificial Fermentation, exclusively on OpenSea. Created using Playform AI, the artist inputted a selection of street/fashion photographs from a 90’s Japanese Magazine called “Fruits,” and found that the process of creating works with AI were adjacent to cultivating and fermenting.

“AI Dreams of Web 3.0” and features works that reflect on the third-generation of internet services using a machine-based understanding of data. How will this new generation of blockchain protocol change the way individuals connect to the internet, and how will AI and machine learning play a role?
